FAQ of the Week: If my ACLS or PALS has expired, can I still take the recertification track?

Yes. Keep in mind, however, that if a lot of time has passed since your last course, you may have some difficulties with the content and updated information. Make sure to prepare adequately. Also, the Guidelines for CPR and ECC changed in 2015, so many in the healthcare industry are opting to take the full provider education program in order to comprehensively familiarize themselves with these new guidelines.
