As you are likely aware by now, we have launched a new referral program through which you can refer your friends and colleagues to our convenient online ACLS and PALS certification programs. Successful referrals will result in both you and the person you referred being issued a $10 Amazon gift-card as a thank-you gift.
Some people, however, have been hesitant to participate in the program. In some cases, this is because they fear that when they give their friends’ names and email addresses to us, we will bombard their in-boxes with emails and SPAM.
This is not the case.
When you make referrals to us, we will send your friends a single email message introducing them to the program. If your friends do not respond or contact us in any way, that will end our email communication with them.
We keep the names and email addresses of your referrals in our database only for the 90-day period during which the referrals are active. After that, we delete the information if your referrals have not signed up for our program. Additionally, we will not share or sell anyone’s contact information to marketing firms or other third-parties.
If, once your referral expires, you wish you refer your friend or colleague again, you can. They will once again receive a single email acknowledging your referral and introducing the program and will then not be contacted by us further unless they sign up with our program or you refer them again at a later date.
So, don’t worry that referring your friends will result in them having their in-boxes bombarded with SPAM. Making a referral to us is safe and is a win-win situation for everyone involved. You can learn more about the program here.
